The story of BeezyBalmi® begins in 1924, in the Latvian countryside, where a farmer named Jānis Bite tended a small piece of land surrounded by forests and buzzing meadows. Jānis was not only a farmer but also a keeper of ancestral knowledge, passed down through generations who had always relied on the gifts of nature for healing and care. From tallow rendered with patience, honey gathered from hives warmed by the Baltic sun, and oils pressed from local plants, he created a balm that protected skin through harsh winters and long days in the fields. His methods were simple, time-tested, and guided by traditions that had already endured for centuries.

But history struck hard. With the Soviet occupation of Latvia, Jānis’s world was torn apart. Like many others, he was exiled to Siberia, where he lived his final days far from the fields he loved, never to return to the land or the balm he had created. His recipe, however, survived—carried quietly within the family as a fragment of heritage, a reminder of both loss and resilience.

Nearly a century later, at the end of the 2000s, Jānis’s great-granddaughter Sandra Bite rediscovered the old notes and revived the balm according to his original recipe. In doing so, she brought back not only a skincare product, but also a family legacy—a bridge between past and present, between the Baltic fields of her great-grandfather and the modern world. Under the name BeezyBalmi®, the balm once again began to nourish skin with the same ancestral wisdom, unaltered by the passing of time.
